The football field. The music stage.
One extraordinary man. Both his whole life.

Overtown, Miami. 1978. A father throws a ball to his young son and says four words that will define a life: “You will be a star.”
Demetrius Brown grew up in one of Miami's toughest neighborhoods and earned a scholarship to the University of Michigan, where he became QB #6 — the first Michigan quarterback to win back-to-back bowl games (Hall of Fame Bowl 1988, Rose Bowl 1989).
But the NFL never called. So Demetrius picked up a guitar instead. Under the name Manchild, he built a legendary music career across Miami's most iconic venues — Tobacco Road, Rose's Bar, Churchill's Pub — becoming a beloved figure in the city's music scene.
Two Fields is the true story of a man who played two fields and won on both — and is still making music to this day.
